The South Wood County Historical Museum invites you to participate in the South Wood County Historical Scavenger Hunt! This self-guided adventure will lead you to 10 historic locations throughout Wood County, where you’ll discover the people, places, and stories that helped shape our communities.
Whether you’re a history enthusiast, looking for a fun family activity, or simply enjoy exploring, the scavenger hunt is a great way to experience Wood County’s rich heritage.
How to Participate
- Download the scavenger hunt brochure below or pick up a printed copy at the South Wood County Historical Museum.
- Visit each of the featured historic locations between August 9 and August 25, 2026.
- Take a selfie or photo at each stop as proof of your visit.
- Bring your completed photos to the South Wood County Historical Museum by August 25, 2026, to be entered into a drawing for a South Wood County Historical Corporation Membership.
