Share Your Christmas Tree Walk Memories!

The South Wood County Historical Museum is preparing to celebrate the 10th Annual Christmas Tree Walk this December, and we need your help preserving the memories of this cherished holiday tradition.

Since 2016, the Christmas Tree Walk has welcomed thousands of visitors to the museum, becoming a beloved part of the holiday season for families, friends, volunteers, decorators, and sponsors throughout our community. As we mark this special milestone, we are creating a commemorative issue of Artifacts, the museum’s historical magazine, dedicated to the first ten years of the Christmas Tree Walk.

We invite you to share your memories by participating in our Christmas Tree Walk Memories Project. Through our survey, you can:

• Tell us how long you’ve attended the Christmas Tree Walk
• Share favorite memories, traditions, and stories
• Submit photographs from past Christmas Tree Walks
• Help document the history of this community tradition for future generations

Participants will also have the opportunity to indicate whether they would like their stories and photographs preserved in the museum archives and/or considered for publication in the commemorative issue of Artifacts.
