The South Wood County Historical Corporation has a wealth of research materials pertaining to local history. If you would like to use our research library, we would be glad to arrange a time for you to utilize our materials. We also sell several research items at the museum.. You can purchase books on local history written by Dave Engel or a video collection produced by Paul Gross. We also sell 1921 Wood County plat books and birds-eye view maps of Wausau (1879), Madison (1908), Stevens Point (1874 & 1891), and Grand Rapids (1874).
